Cheeron Deng is a performance maker and scriptwriter currently studying MA Performance Making at Goldsmiths, University of London.  His practice explores history, religion, imagined spaces, and narratives rooted in everyday reality. Cheeron is particularly interested in the relationship between stage space, physical expression, and storytelling.  His current research focuses on experiences of isolation and marginalization, investigating both social exclusion and the internal emotional landscapes it creates. “Through my performance ‘Black Sheep’, I seek to examine how individuals navigate belonging, identity, and the boundaries imposed by collective structures.”
