an exploration of the female body as the site of archive

Body Archive is an immersive, multi-episode instillation that acts to examine our relationship with our bodies, our femininity and inherited trauma across generations.   

This piece is a cumulative, durational installation interacting with matter and spoken word. We will leave behind traces, which will remain throughout each episode, forming works which embody the stories and experiences which we explore. We perform Intimate monologues with along with physical image making to reflect and depict the stories of the performers, asserting our bodies as sites for knowledge, reflection and resilience.
