MAY JOLLY
May Jolly is a writer, performer and assistant director interested in sound, liminality, disability and special interests. She creates work influenced by her experience as an autistic woman, the riot grrrl movement and the separation of body and mind. As an autistic creative, her primary goal is to represent and create for other autistic people outside of the stereotypical portrayal of the diagnosis, combatting the infantilisation herself and many others face. Using sound, video and live performance. May continually searches for a way to “adultify” herself through her practise.
