If on a Paradise Night, a Spy is a new original musical inspired by a surreal footnote of history: a North Korean regime heir’s childhood visits to Tokyo Disneyland under a forged passport.

A sleeper agent in Japan is assigned to accompany the young heir on a clandestine day at a theme park. Inside this “dream factory,” his ideological certainty begins to crack, revealing unexpected parallels between the paradise before him and the homeland he has sworn to serve.

Through dark humour and music, the show turns from powerful figures to the ordinary people caught in the shadows of history.
